		<description>It seems the MS product roadmap consists of a 1:1 scale version of a swamp.

The HTML5 vs. Silverlight announcment profoundly sucked, especially when it can be readily seen that the two are not the same - i.e. they should have been promoted as complementary rather than competitive.

What really concerns me though is that I&#039;m hearing nothing about the larger picture, by which I mean, where to after .Net 4.0 - is there anything?  Not only is there no signal, there&#039;s not even noise.</description>

		<description>Definitely missing a long term strategy - at least from outside looking in.  And this harms adoption.
Especially the case of Silverlight/WPF and how it relates to HTML5.  We need a solid strategy so that adopting one provides some assurance if the industry moves behind the other.</description>
